Do You Want to Change the World?

dyslexia teacherWhen a child or adult struggles to read… they struggle with life.   The Reading Writing Connection changes lives through tutoring and instruction and you, too, can help change a life by becoming an instructor.

Students with dyslexia learn differently, so our approach is different.  Orton-Gillingham effectively facilitates a learning partnership between the student and teacher.  Research has shown that people with dyslexia do not use the same part of the brain when reading as other readers.  The Reading Writing Connection’s tools address this difference.  Our one-on-one, multi-sensory instruction uses visual, auditory, tactile and kinesthetic pathways to the brain.

Our approach results in:

  • Academic success
  • Self-confidence
  • Improved access to the job market
  • Literacy, and even a love of reading
  • Realization of potential

If you want to be engage in meaningful and satisfying work, please consider taking our Orton-Gillingham training.  The skills you will learn will be valuable information you will have for ALL learners and not only dyslexia students.  Our next teacher/instructor training begin July 30, 2012.  Please call if you would like more information or have any questions.
